l have a 2004 Dodge Stratus who is seat belts are locked after a fender bender.What is the best way to fix it and if there are parts that l need to purchase, what are they called.

What parts to buy to fix locked seat belt in a 2004 Dodge Stratus

You probably do not have to buy any parts. Remove the assembly & have a look at the ratchetting mechanism. DO NOT remove the cover from the spring. Some times the belt will catch in the sprocket. Ensure the belt bracket is not bent leading to the same problem. The belt must wind on the spool evenly or the same problem will occur.
